I have fought this battle many a time.
Apparently it's not just me.

And oh my goodness THANK YOU UUUUUGH for making this. It's very helpful.

ALSO I didn't notice that it was you who were the author, and as I was reading I kept thinking "WOW, THIS PERSON'S ART REMINDS ME OF BITTERTEA'S ART FOR SOME REASON".
So now I feel stupid ahaha, but hey; at least you know your art style is so unique that it's recognizable. :I

I don't think my scanner has those options. All I know is that it sucks and that is why I have stopped doing detailed renderings and only do simple lineart these days.
